October 4, 2024MAD Scientist Associates Expands Services with Full Engineering Capabilities for Stream and Wetland Restoration
October 4, 2024Jenna and Corbin have been leading biological stream assessments throughout the summer. This data helped organizations develop baselines for future comparison and secure grant funding for habitat preservation and restoration. Notable/fun finds have included:
P1- Team using electrofisher in headwater stream.
P2- Sorting haul from seine on the stream bank.
P3- Grass Pickerel. A common, but cryptic predator of slow-moving waters.
P4- Trout-Perch. A less-common, insect predator of deep pools in streams.
